Room safes
Room safes represent an added dimension of comfort and security for hotel guests. The top priority here is user-friendly, reliable and trouble-free operation.
Besides top-of-the-range models for first-class hotels, our product portfolio includes room safes for all other standards of hotel.
Easy operation for guests and staff
Our product range includes a large number of user-friendly room safe models in various sizes and with different equipment and locking systems, e.g. key safes, card safes that the guest can open with his own credit card or other magnetic card, or digital safes that can be opened by entering a user-selected code via a digital keypad. We also offer combined card/digital safes which can be opened both with a magnetic card and by entering a code.
In an emergency, hotel staff can open all these safes with the hotel's own master code and/or emergency key. Many HARTMANN room safes are fitted (as standard or as an optional extra) with an audit feature that allows the readout of operating transactions and transfer of the data to a PC or laptop.
Laptop-size room safe
More and more hotel guests - not just those travelling on business - are bringing their laptops with them, so many of our room safe models have been designed to accommodate electronic notebooks. As an extra option, safes can also be fitted with a charger socket for laptops, mobile phones or other hand-held electronic devices.

Electronic management with Key Code system
Our HS 910 Series safes are equipped with an electronic management system, featuring an iB Key Code. The so-called iB keys can be used as master keys for opening in an emergency, as well as for programming the safe and data readout - which means safe and easy handling for hotel management and staff. All HS 910 models are fully padded and come with LED interior lighting as standard.
Top-Open room safe
Top-open safes installed in a drawer are an interesting space-saving alternative for the integration of a safe in existing room furniture or fittings. The large door opens upwards automatically after entry of the code, making it easy for guests to operate the safe and deposit items. It goes without saying that the Top-Open safe is large enough to accommodate an electronic notebook.
